She has undertaken further training in small animal behaviour, the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy Master Program and is a Stress Free Pets Australia practitioner.

Dr Mel came to our home and surrounded by those that loved him, he gently went to sleep for the last time. Dr Mel was compassionate and calm and gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes. We were so glad that Dr Mel was there for one of the hardest days saying goodbye to a loved family member.
We were concerned about how to let our Sunny go as he was such a big boy. Dr Mel was very reassuring and professional and she ensured he was calm throughout as he peacefully passed away in the sunshine in his favourite spot in the garden. Dr Mel was very caring and considerate in what was a very stressful time for us as a family.
